Australia City Guide Travel Story

My trip to Cairns was excellent! I came around November and the weather was quite pleasant, it was a bit warm at times, but there is always the Lagoon at the Esplanade. Is a great place to go for a dip in the water when the days get hot. There are also plenty of freshwater escapes you can go to. As I am travelling on a motorcycle, these places are easily accessible, not that you cannot go on a car. Places like Mossman Gorge, Barron Gorge, Lake Barine, Lake Eacham, Crystal Cascades and Boulders are all beautiful freshwater escapes you can easily go to.

The night lifes are also great, there are many affordable places you can enjoy a night out and most of all the girls are gorgeuos out here. Balaz...

What a day I spent today, a day trip to Kuranda on the Kuranda Scenic Railway train. Kuranda Scenic Railway travels through the rainforest from Cairns to Kuranda (and vice-versa), stopping at Freshwater and Baron Falls along the way. The journey takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Once in Kuranda I visited the markets, butterfly sanctuary, had lunch and gone to see the Barron Fall through the rainforest walk.

There are many things you can see in Kuranda, is a bit of a rush when you try to see everything in a day. When you enjoying your time so much, times does fly and before you know it you had to go back to the train station and head back down to Cairns. Tara...
