Haigh Australia
Haigh Australia – the oldest family owned chocolate company, established 89 years ago, offers free guided tours where you can learn about the process of making these melt in your mouth delights.
The tour takes you through the factory, then lets you loose in the shop. Where: Greenhill Rd, Parkside.
The South Australian Museum – Offers visitors six floors of exhibits that reveal many fascinating stories. Exhibitions and displays reflect the museum’s extensive Australian Aboriginal and Pacific collections and the Ancient Egyptian room has been a favourite destination for generations of museum visitors.

Adelaide Botanic Garden – the Garden Guides conduct free guided walks of the Adelaide Botanic Garden leaving from under the plane trees outside the Botanic Garden Restaurant, daily at 10:30am (except Christmas and Good Friday).

Adelaide Zoo
Adelaide Zoo – home to over 1,800 animals and almost 300 species of exotic and native mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and fish exhibited in magnificent botanic surroundings now expanded to 8 hectares. There’s plenty to see and do at Adelaide Zoo.

Getting Around Adelaide
Public Transport
The Adelaide Connector free bus service is a Council initiative which provides a safe and convenient link between the major facilities within the North Adelaide and City area. Facilities such as hospitals, universities, schools, community services and shopping precincts are now linked and accessible via the Adelaide Connector free bus service.
The service operates 7 days a week (except public holidays). Mondays to Thursdays it runs between 8am and 6pm. On Fridays between 8am and 9.30pm. On Saturdays and Sundays between 10am and 5pm.
Bus timetables are available on each bus; and also from the Council's Customer Service Centre at 25 Pirie Street; the North Adelaide Library and Community Centre 176 Tynte Street; the Hutt Street Library and Community Centre 235 Hutt Street; and the Visitor Information Centre at the Western end of Rundle Mall.
